charity/community award programmes that operate throughout Ireland.

Please consider Rare Ireland if you are nominating a partner charity for this coming year in your workplace. It would significantly enable us to do more, to benefit our members and promote awareness of rare conditions. Currently there is an estimated 8000 plus rare diseases, the majority of which develop in childhood.

Aviva Broker Community Fund – Rare Ireland wins
The annual Aviva Broker Community Fund Awards ceremony took place in early December in Aviva Stadium when eight charity and community organisations who were shortlisted from a total of 136 entries presented to a panel of judges. These groups presented their plans to the judging panel on the day to fund much needed projects for their respective communities. Rare Ireland was awarded €20,000 under the Charity category.
